Raster master
From basic TV-screen to complex woodcut or engraving effects, from simple patterns to weird moire overlays - Raster master does it all.
Full control over lines density, angle, curvature, color and transparency; powerful control for black/white lines width balance and of course AmphiSoft original "displacement by source" ("Line drift") feature for 3D-like distortions.
Seamless image processing implemented in Raster master is an absolute goldmine for web designer wishing to easily turn some stock wallpapers into more individual backgrounds. The left example below is merely a result of running Raster master twice on a white image under different settings:
Tech note: some users wondered why several controls (line angle, for example) sometimes do not work smooth; instead, they start to work "stepwise" meaning that, say, angle changes only by some fixed increment. "This is not a bug - it's a feature!" This happens when you activate "Wrap around" option. For the resulting image to be seamless, the line egdes should match. Say, as you rotate the lines with "Line angle", the left edge of the line number N should be at the same height as the right edge of the line N+1 or N+2 or, say, N+10. It cannot be between N+9 and N+10 if we want to "make ends meet" as we use the image for a background texture. This is why the filter forces the lines to be rotated only by some "allowed" angle (the angle step depends on line dencity: the more the density is, the less steps are allowed). If you switch "Wrap around" off, the line rotation will become smooth as usual.
